OSSMEP x Unilever: Suppliers Diversity & Inclusion Project

The Office of SMEs Promotion (OSMEP) and Unilever Thailand are pleased to launch an Inclusivity Business Partnership Program to support gender equality and social inclusivity according to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).

Unilever offer diverse SMEs, with >51% owned, managed and controlled by Women, LGBTQI+, Disability, and Minority Ethnicities, the opportunity for a potential business partnership with global corporate such as Unilever.

Unilever is a multinational company with operations in 190 countries and territories around the world. Unilever is one of the largest fast-moving consumer goods manufacturers in Thailand. The company remarks their 88th year in Thailand and is committed to making sustainable living commonplace through equality, diversity and inclusivity.

On 21st Jan 2021, Unilever announced a wide-ranging set of social commitments and actions to help build a more equitable and inclusive society through their value chain.

                                                                                                      

One of their commitment is that by 2025, Unilever Global will be spending €2 billion annually through business transaction with suppliers that are >51% owned, managed & controlled by under-represented groups (Women, LGBTQI+, Disability, and Minority Ethnicities).

Against this commitment leading to 2025, Unilever Thailand is now looking to recruit SMEs that meet both of the following criteria:
