“All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”
– Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Celebrating this year’s Human Rights Day, we presented four of the most recent APTN publication highlighting trans and gender diverse issues in the Asia Pacific. These publications show data and facts regarding transgender issues ranging from legal gender recognition, conversion therapy, health implications on stigmatization, and how COVID-19 affects the trans community in the Asia Pacific region.

With these publications, we would like to remind you that the journey for equality for trans and gender diverse people in the Asia Pacific still has a long way to go, and APTN dedicates our lifetime work to fight for the rights of trans and gender diverse people.
