Before our office closure, we had an operations meeting and a team retreat in Nepal. Our operations meeting was facilitated by Sarah Zaidi, our lifetime ally and consultant. We were also supported by Elyn Bhandari, a team member of the Blue Diamond Society of Nepal, to navigate the foreign country.
As a team, we believe that we did a great job in recreating our work post-pandemic. In the operations meeting, team members addressed what we would need to improve and discussed many of our plans for the following year.
Having a fantastic space to discuss our operations and strategy felt exciting as we felt the organisation is growing with us! We also had the opportunity to be closer as teammates during a Bonfire party on a cold night in the mountains in Ghandruk, Nepal and had a secret Santa session (even though it was not Christmas Day yet!).
Stay tuned to our plans for next year! We hope 2023 will be a great new beginning for us to continue serving the trans communities around the Asia Pacific.
