UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, in partnership with The Moth, an internationally acclaimed organization dedicated to the art and craft of personal stories, is conducting an exclusive storytelling workshop in Bangkok between 5-7 April 2023 to help develop the personal storytelling skill sets of gender equality advocates, women’s right activists, and feminists.

Through its Global Community Program, The Moth works closely with individuals around the world – elevating stories that highlight world issues, dissolve stereotypes, and bridge social divides. Guided by Moth instructors, workshop participants shape selected life experiences into well-crafted stories, which may then be presented to peers and to the world at large.

This intensive in-person workshop will take place in Bangkok for two and a half days and it will be available to a total of 20 participants from the Asia and the Pacific region. There is no cost to participate in the workshop. Accommodation, travel, and meals will be provided.
